Great idea!

Thailand attracts visitors because of its irresistible combination of breathtaking natural beauty, inspiring temples, robust cuisine and ruins of fantastic ancient kingdoms.

In order to help you plan your stay, I have prepared an itinerary for 2 weeks in Thailand for you.

In this itinerary, starting from Bangkok, Northern and Southern Thailand. In addition, I will give accommodation suggestions depending on your budget.

What to see and do in the 2-week Thailand Itinerary?

Bangkok

Bangkok

Start your 2 weeks Thailand itinerary, I suggest you visit Bangkok, the capital of Thailand. There are many places you can visit in Bangkok. That’s exciting!

The first day in Bangkok, you should visit some places:

Grand Palace

The Grand Palace (or Royal Palace) is the most visited tourist site in Bangkok and one of the must see attractions during a trip to Thailand.

*Tips for visiting:

  • When visiting the Grand Palace, dress modestly and respectfully.
  • Both men and women are required to cover their shoulders and wear pants or skirts that cover the knees.
  • If you're not dressed appropriately, there are rental clothing options available near the entrance.

Wat Pho

Wat Pho, Bangkok's second most popular tourist attraction, is located near the Grand Palace and is easily accessible on foot.

This historic and culturally significant site showcases exquisite architecture, rich history, and spiritual significance.

*Tips for visiting:

Dress modestly and remove your shoes before entering temple buildings. As with other temples, it's recommended to visit Wat Pho early in the day to avoid crowds and the midday heat.

Wat Arun

Wat Arun is one of Thailand's most recognizable temples, or watts. Climb the steep stairs of Wat Arun to get a fantastic view of the city and the Chao Phraya River. As we enter, we will notice an extremely impressive spiral-shaped stone roof gate located directly in front of us. There are statues nearby depicting events from the Buddha's life.

*Tips for visiting:

  • This destination has an entrance fee of 100 baht.
  • This is a spiritual place, worshiping Buddha, so please pay attention to dress appropriately.

Furthermore, you can visit some places here:
