The Elephant Valley project has the noble mission of saving elephants and fighting deforestation. This initiative encourages local mahouts to bring their exhausted or injured elephants from their work to the 1,600 hectare reserve set up by the organization. Thus, these majestic animals can rest, receive appropriate care and return to their wild life. Founded in 2006, this project aims not only to protect elephants, but also to preserve the forest, create jobs for mahouts and support the Bunong people

To date, Elephant Valley has 48 elephants. Visitors now have the opportunity to observe these animals in their natural habitat, without riding on their backs. They can feed them and even bathe with them. Travelers will have the opportunity to experience the true behavior of wild elephants, understand the regional ecosystem and interact with the Bunong community, while contributing to the organization's projects
