Hanoi - Duong Lam Village - Mai Chau: 180 km - 4h30

After having breakfast, depart in the morning to Mai Chau:

• Along the way, stop at Duong Lam ancient village, where retains most of the characteristics of a typical Vietnamese village: a village gate, banyan trees, a wharf, a communal yard, pagodas, temples, a well, and rice fields. Take a visit to Mong Phu Village built with laterite stone and rammed earth dwellings
• Have a typical Vietnamese lunch in an ancient house with a local family
• Continue your journey to Mai Chau and drive through beautiful valleys carved by rice terraced fields. Mai Chau is home to the ethnic White Thai group, distant relatives of tribes located in Thailand, China and Laos
• End the day at a homestay in Mai Chau to take a rest
• Have a cozy dinner with a local family. Then enjoy Thai traditional dance performance and drink “Ruou Can” - a traditional alcohol made from rice

Mai Chau - Pu Luong: 75 km - 3h

Large mountains will rise around you while going to the Mai Hich village. Soak in pictures for the memory while enjoying the fresh air

• Walk around the small villages or take a cycle trip of 15 km to the Mai Hich Village, while passing rice fields and enjoy the fresh air in the mountain area
• Meet your host for the lunch oft our recommended homestay. Try fried pineapple or long time cooked meat that melts in your mouth
• Drive to our retreat hotel in the Don Village, which is located on the top of the nature reserve in Pu Luong. Relax and enjoy the sunset from the infinity pool

Go for a trekking tour surrounded by mountains and paddies while passing through small villages

• Walk through villages, rice terraces and forest to get to the Hieu Village. Take in the sounds from children playing and birds flying by
• Jump into the waterfall located in the Hieu Village and refresh from the hike. Bring your bathing suit and take a dip in the cold water
• Enjoy your lunch surrounded by locals before heading back to our retreatment place where you can relax and enjoy the view

Pu Luong - Cuc Phuong National Park: 125 km - 3h

Travel to the amazing “Halong Bay on land”

Cuc Phuong is Vietnam's first national park and the country's largest natural reserve and one of the last tropical primary forests in the world

• Trek through the forest to explore the diversity of flora and fauna and explore the stories of origins of all kinds of species
• Visit the Endangered Primate Rescue Centre
• Trek up to the 1000-year-old tree
• Uncover the prehistoric cave, which contains the traces of shelter and graves of prehistoric man

After breakfast, enjoy your last day in Halong Bay on land:

• Visit Mua Cave and enjoy wonderful relaxation on the top of Mua Cave mountain with a majestic world around you
• In the afternoon, visit Phat Diem Cathedral, a building that brilliantly combines Eastern royal architecture with Western religion
