Banteay Srei - Banteay Samre
Visit Banteay Srei, "the citadel of women", a small marvel of pink sandstone, very well preserved. Of a rare finesse, richly and finely decorated with graceful motifs and scenes from Hindu mythology

Tonlé Sap - Rolous Temples
- Departure for the most authentic and largest of the water villages Kampong Khleang on the edge of the lake before starting the boat trip on Tonlé Sap Lake
- 10,000 inhabitants live here in houses on stilts 8 to 10 meters high
- Take a look at the local market, the pagoda, the primary school
- Explanations about Tonlé Sap:
- The dry season is from December to April . During this period the river normally flows into the Mekong. The inhabitants live on the farm and travel on motorbikes
- Then comes the rainy season. The water level of the Mekong rises considerably and Lake Tonlé Sap is formed, which becomes the largest freshwater lake in South East Asia
- Motorcycles are being replaced by boats
- Visit the Roluos Temples of the pre-Angkorian era with:
- Preah Ko, dedicated to Shiva
- Bakheng (the largest and most complex temple in the Roluos complex)
- Lo Lei, the temple of the four towers

Depart for the lush landscapes of the Mekong Delta
The Mekong Delta is an extremely fertile region, crisscrossed by water and land, canals and arroyos, dotted with green checkered rice fields whose rice is reputed to be the most fragrant in the country
This generous land is home to abundant fruit gardens, fish farms, and shrimp farms, and all of this contributes to the fact that the Mekong Delta is known as the “rice bowl of Vietnam”
- Crossing by ferry to Ben Tre and boarding for a boat ride on the natural canal of Xep through islets planted with tropical orchards where you will see durian, mangosteen, and orange plantations
- Then, horse-drawn carriages will take you on a beautiful 20-minute ride through the villages
- Visit an orchard to taste fruit and honey tea
- Then, embark to Turtle Island. There, you will visit a coconut candy workshop
During lunch, you will discover the region’s specialty by savoring “elephant ear fish” that is eaten with rice pancakes and a typical sauce

The cruise will head to Sa Dec, cruising upstream on the Tien Giang River, one of the two widest branches of the Mekong River. We will reach Sa Dec. You will disembark to take a stroll to discover its peaceful alleys lined with flowering trees. Visit the old house dating from 1890, the house of Mr. Huynh Thuy Le, the lover of the famous writer Marguerite Duras
A rowing boat ride on a canal to see the plants along the banks. The last stop to visit an old mandarin's residence dating from the end of the 19th century, where you will be welcomed by the owners, where you will have a candlelight dinner, an unforgettable experience in a warm atmosphere
Back on board. The cruise will continue to sail towards Can Tho through pretty narrow canals passing some bamboo rope bridges and small typical villages
