    • The Grand Royal Palace complex which includes the Royal Palace and the magnificent Wat Phra Kaew (known for the Statue of the Emerald Buddha)
    • Wat Pho, a giant house of the lying Buddha
    • A boat trip through the lively and bustling interior canals by traditional long tail boat
    • Wat Paknam, is a hidden museum with white stupa exhibition
    • Beautiful part of the Khlong with a mix of old wooden houses and new modern mansion

  • Bangkok - Kanchanaburi: 240 km - 4h

    Immerse yourself in the colourful atmosphere of the lively railway and floating markets:

    • Get up-close to the Maeklong Railway Market also known as “life-risking” market where exciting and magical scene happens, vendors disappear in a blink of an eye at each train whistle signaling the arrival of a train
    • Learn the idea of a traditional market setting at Damnoen Saduak Floating Market, the best known floating market of Thailand which is featured in the James Bond movie and more recently “Bangkok dangerous” with Nicolas Cage. Watch the bustling activity on the crowded canals where boats loaded with, fresh exotic tropical fruits and Thai’s noodles, are packed up
    • Keep travelling to the southwest to reach Kanchanaburi and get ready to experience its significances:
      • Visit the World War II memorial including the Jeath War Museum
      • Lunch is served at a floating restaurant next to the River Kwai Bridge
      • Get on a train ride along the railway to enjoy the beautiful river view for around 30 minutes

  • Kanchanabuiri - Bang Pa-In - Ayutthaya: 260 km - 4h

    Enjoy breakfast before departing for Bang Pa-In

    After more than 2 hours, we will arrive at Bang Pa-In where we will visit the Summer Palace, built in the Ayutthaya period. It is the king's favorite summer palace

    Next, take a journey to Ayutthaya, roam the remaining temple and palace of this ancient Thai capital. Hop on a charming Kermit tuk tuk, a unique mode of transport found only in Ayutthaya and Trang

    • Take in the impressive sights of Wat Yai Chaimongkol and Wat Mahathat, where a Buddha face mysteriously emerges from a tree
    • Stroll through a local market en route to Wat Phra Srisanphet

  • Ayutthaya - Lopburi - Phitsanulok - Sukhothai: 410 km - 6h

    After breakfast, heading to Lopburi

    Visit Phraprang Samyod. This massive stone shrine was founded as a Hindu shrine in the thirteenth century by Khmer King Jayavarman VII, the ruler who built several famous temples and palaces like Angkor, Prang Sam Yod which was originally a Hindu temple, with three stone towers (prangs) representing the 3 Hindu deities of Brahma, Vishnu and Shiva. The Thais later converted the shrine into a Buddhist temple when the neighboring Ayutthaya Kingdom rose to power

    Continue to another province named Phitsanulok and visit Wat Phra Si Rattana Mahathat and check in to the hotel. You will have the rest of the free time

  • Sukhothai - Lampang: 260 km - 4h

    • After breakfast, pick-up and transfer to the bicycle parking where we will take a bike to visit the Sukhothai Historical Park. The park contains nearly 200 ruined chedis in a remarkable state
    • Discover the legend of the talking Buddha at Wat Srichum and marvel at the serene image of Buddha Ajana
    • Cycle to Wat Prapailuang, the heart of the ancient Sukhothai kingdom, and soak up the historical atmosphere Visit to Wat Sri Sawai, Wat Sra Sri and Wat Trapang Ngoen
    • Enjoy a delicious lunch before transferring to the charming town of Lampang for a relaxing overnight stay

  • Lampang - Chiang Rai: 175 km - 3h30

    • Visit Wat Phra That Lampang Luang, one of the best examples of Lanna-style architecture in Thailand
    • Take a 30-minute horse-drawn carriage ride through the city and villages

    • In the afternoon, continue to Chiang Rai
    • On the way, stop at Phayao Lake where we can have a coffee and enjoy the beautiful views of the lake
    • Arrive in Chiang Rai at the end of the day

  • Road to northern Thailand, a beautiful wooded and mountainous region. Take a drive to the Mae Salong

    • Hike up and down the green hills, covered with tea plantations
    • Taste the delicious tea produced by one of the many plantations of the region
    • Stroll through villages of ethnic minorities: the village Akah of Loyo, and the village Lisu of Ban Hanygo
    • Continue browsing the incredible handicrafts for sale in local shops and markets before heading to the village of Santi Khiri, a community settled by former Chinese migrants well known for its picturesque landscape and tranquil atmosphere
    • Spend some time exploring this charming little town, tasting traditional Chinese dishes and visiting the tea, coffee and even fruit tree plantations, in full bloom in December and January.

    • Then, departure for Chiang Saen, the “small ancient city”
    • Then enjoy a cruise aboard a local longtail boat traveling along the Mekong River with a visit to Don Sao Island

    • Leave Chiang Rai, taking the winding mountainous road through the rainforest to the big city of Chiang Mai
    • Visit the majestic temple of Vat Chedi Luand – called “the wide temple” in old Nordic dialect
    • Then venture to the second temple, Vat Phra Sing – or the Lion Buddha Temple – one of the best places to experience classical Lanna art and historical literature
    • Next, head to Chiang Mai's oldest temple, Vat Chiang Man – a magnificent structure dating back to the 13th century – before arriving at your final port of call, Vat Suan Dock
    • Return to the hotel

    • Climb up the Doi Suthep hill to visit the most sacred temple in northern Thailand – the Wat Phra Tha Doi Suthep
